WARNING • • • • • The EN-EL2 is a rechargeable battery pack for use only with Nikon digital cameras. When recharging the EN-EL2, use only the MH-60 Battery Charger. Do not expose the battery to heat or flame. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery. Do not short the positive and negative battery terminals with a metal object such as a necklace or keys. Failure to follow these instructions could cause the batter y to leak corrosive liquids, overheat, or explode. Precautions for Use • After removing the battery from the camera for storage or transportation, attach the terminal cover included with the EN-EL2. Shorting of the battery could result in leakage, fire or explosion. • Do not connect the EN-EL2 to any EN-EL2 non-compatible device. • See the documentation provided with the MH-60 Battery Charger for information on recharging the product, as well as for further cautions and warnings that must be observed when recharging. • Before using the product for the first time, or before using the product following an extended period of disuse, recharge the battery with the MH-60 Battery Charger. • If the battery will not be used for some time, discharge the battery before storing it. • If the battery is kept in storage for some time, charge the battery and then dischar...
