The
creator
of
the
DBEn

Creator
(DBC)

authorities
of
other
users.
These
authorities
relate
to
the
DBEn
vironmen
t
or
to
sp ecic
tables
within
it.
Some
of
these
authorities
allo w
users
to
CONNECT
to
the
DBEn
vironmen
t
and
SELECT,
INSER
T,
and
UPD
A
TE
against
tables.
If
y
ou
are
the
creator
of
a
table,
y
ou
ha
v
e

WNER
authorit
y
o
v
er
that
table,
whic
h
lets
y
ou
p erform
an
y
op eration
on
it,
including
granting
authorities
to
other
users.
With
IMA
GE/SQL,

y
default,
the

urb oIMA
GE/XL
creator

someone
who
kno
ws
the
maintenance

ord
to
the

urb oIMA
GE/XL
database)

the
DBA
of
the
DBEn
vironmen

set
up

DBC

users

base
table

few
