COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove old compressor. Unsweat all tubes from the old compressor. Do not cut them off. 2. Remove the start capacitor. 3. Remove the start relay. Note: If the old compressor was a Copeland model: • Cut 2” off of the suction line. • Remove the three compressor leads from the ice machine. • Remove the two remaining leads from the start relay from the ice machine. • Install six new wires (included in kit) following wiring diagram (included in kit). 4.

These can be installed together or separately to eliminate the possibility of water tracking on the bottom of the left or right evaporator brackets to the back wall where it could flow into the ice bin instead of back into the water trough.
