When using the C.Nite, the image takes on a slow motion like effect. When using the C.Nite, the focus adjusts slowly and white dots may appear on the screen, this is not a defect. Zoom Type • This function is only available in Video Record mode. • The memory camcorder offers three types of zoom: optical, intelligent and digital zoom when recording videos. This right side of the bar shows the digital zooming zone. The zooming zone appears when you move the zoom lever. "Intelli-zoom" on-screen display None None None item contents "Optical zoom" Only optical zoom is available up to 34x. - The camcorder zooms the full width of the image sensor to obtain a larger zoom range without any deterioration in image quality. - Intelli-zoom is available up to 42x. "Digital zoom" - When this option is selected, the camcorder will switch automatically to the digital zoom when you zoom in beyond the optical or intelligent zoom range. With the digital zoom the image is processed digitally so image quality will deteriorate the more you zoom in. - Digital zoom is available up to 1200x.
