1. Remove the battery cover on the chime. 2. Unplug the red and white wires inside the battery compartment. 3. Remove the battery pack and discard appropriately. Required Tools: Small flat blade screwdriver, drill, drill bit, and phillips screwdriver. Note: The push button has 3 additional jumpers that are used to set the chime tune that will play. The chime tune jumpers do not affect the house security code. 1. Remove power or batteries from the chime. 2. To remove the batteries from the pushbutton, open the pushbutton case as shown below. 3. Locate the House Security Code door and screw located on the back of the AC Chime. Remove the screw and take off the door. 4. Locate the chime and pushbutton jumpers shown below. It is recommended to change only one jumper at a time and then test the system for proper operation. The jumpers on the chime and pushbutton must match exactly. Push Butt
Locate the two door chime wires emanating from the existing door chime circuit. Test the door chime by touching the two wires together, completing the circuit. If door chime does not sound,check transformer or chime. Turn off power. Attach one wire to each of the screw terminals on the back of the button. Mount button in desired location with two screws provided. Install according to applicable local electrical codes. -EEL Wall
