I Attach the stand tubes to the frame so that the nuts and washers are on the upper side. The stand tube fitted with wheels should be at the front of the cycle. Fig. 2 Remove the green plastic plugs from the right-hand crank and pedal. Attach the pedal to the crank, tightening clockwise. Remove the red plastic plugs from the left-hand crank and pedal and attach the pedal to the crank, tightening counterclockwise. The pedals are also marked with the letters R (right) and L (left) on the pedal shaft. Fig. 3 Lift the handlebar column into the upright position and push the lower end of the brafce cable through the frame tube. Fig. 4 Fix the handlebar column to the frame with the three hexagonal screws. Turn the cycle carefully onto its right-hand side. Remove the left-hand front chain guard by loosening the three screws. N.B. Remove your watch before proceeding to the next step, as it may be damaged by the magnetic field of the brake mechanism. Fig. 5 Thread the lower end of the brake cable from inside as shown. Push the end of the cable into slot A and the pin into sleeve B on the brake arch. Break and remove binder C, so that the arch can^e moved as far back as possible. Pull the control lever to its maximum position (16). The distance between the brake magnets and the outer rim of the flywheel should now be I - 2 mm. Fig. 6 The distance can be measured by slipping a I - 2 mm thick strip of cardboard (provided) between the magnets and the flywheel. The distance can be adjusted by turning the stop screw of the brake arch (see F'g) Thread the speedometer cable through the hole in the front chain guard and fix the chain guard in place with three screws. Fig. 7 Push the upper end of the cable into the speedometer and screw on the sleeve. Before using the cycle make sure all screws and nuts are tight. Abb. 4 Das Handstützenprofil aufsetzen und mit den drei Inbussschrauben am Rahmen befestigen. Das Gerät vorsichtig auf die rechte Seite legen. Auf der linken Seiten den vorderen Kettenschutz entfernen. Dazu die drei Befestigungsschrauben lösen. Achtung! Vor dem nächsten Schritt die Armbanduhr abnehmen; sie kann durch das Magnetfeld des Bremsmechanismus beschädigt werden. Das Zugende in die Bohrung A am Rahmen und das Zugspanngewinde in die Rückhaltevorrichtung B am Bremsbogen einhängen. Das Band C durchschneiden und entfernen. Der Bremsbogen kann jetzt in die Extremposition gelangen. Den Tretwi-derstandshebel auf Max. (16) ziehen. Dabei sollte der Abstand zwischen Bremsmagneten und Schwungrad I - 2 mm betragen. Abb. 6 Zur Prüfung des Abstandes ein I -2 mm dicker Messstreifen (mitgeliefert) zwischen Magneten und Schwungrad stecken. Ggf. den Abstand mit der Begrenzungsschraube am Bremsbogen einstellen (siehe Bild). Die Welle des Geschwindigkeitsmessers durch das Loch am vorderen Kettenschutz ziehen und den Kettenschutz mit den drei Schrauben befestigen. Abb. 7 Das obere Wellenende in das Messgerät schieben und mit der Gewindemuffe festsetzen. Vor Inbetriebnahme des Geräts alle Schrauben und Muttern auf festen Sitz prüfen. Sortir de l’emballage toutes les pièces à assembler et les outils nécessaires pour l’assemblage: Fixer la selle à l’aide des trois écrous prévus à cet effet. La barre de soutien avant est celle qui est munie des roues de transport. Même opération avec la manivelle et la pédale gauche (coiffes rouges et lettre L = left sur la pédale) en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
