GENERAL SETUP PAGE TV TYPE ANGLE MARK OSD LANG CAPTIONS SCREEN SAVER LAST MEMORY TV DISPLAY ON OFF ON: When playing back a DVD disc recorded with a multi-angle feature, an angle indicator will display on the screen. OFF: turns off the multi angle display indicator. Note =This function only works for the discs recorded with the multi angle feature. If you set SCREEN SAVER to ON, the unit will start the screen saver when there is no disc or the DVD is in STOP mode for 1 minute. Once the DVD component is switched on again, the unit will play from the last stop point automatically. This function is useful when you are watching movie. Note =This function does not work when the DVD component is switched off by pressing POWER or TV/DVD button on the panel of the unit. LT/RT: output audio signal which is encoded with Dolby surround stereo information so that an amplifier is able to process the signal. STEREO: output audio signal in left and right channel. 2. SPDIF SETUP =Press5or6to select SPDIF SETUP item. =Press ENTER to enter. SPDIF: Sony/Philips Digital Interface. The unit outputs a digital signal for the amplifier to decode via SPDIF. SPDIF OUTPUT =Press5or6to select SPDIF OUTPUT item. =Press 4to access option item. =Press5or6to select option item. =Press ENTER to confirm and press 3to return. SPDIF OFF: turn off SPDIF output. SPDIF/PCM: the unit first decodes the disc and then encodes the audio signal as PCM to the output.
