Installing and removing the SIM card 1. Before installing the SIM card, launch Communication Manager, then tap the button. When the color of the icon turns orange , this indicates that the Pocket PC wireless connection is disabled. 2. Press the Power key to turn the screen off. 3. Disconnect the USB cable or AC adapter if either of them is connected to your Pocket PC. Removing the SIM card or battery while the Pocket PC is connected to a USB cable or AC adapter may damage your device. English English English 6 4. To install the SIM card Open the slot cover and insert the SIM card with its cut-off corner facing toward the inside of the slot. Remember to close the slot cover. 5. To remove the SIM card Press the SIM card to pop it out of the slot. 6. To install the battery 7 Charging the battery Do not remove the battery while charging. .. Connect the AC adapter plug to any household power outlet. .. Connect the AC adapter's other plug into the USB port. The Pocket PC will start charging automatically. .. Subsequent charging will only take about three hours. After charging, you can disconnect the AC adapter to take your Pocket PC with you. To ensure smooth operation, charge the battery regularly. 2. The battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen indicates remaining battery charge. 3. The LED indicator on the right of the Pocket PC indicates the charging and function status. English English English 10 Synchronization If you use Outlook on your PC, you can synchronize e-mail, contacts, calendar and more with your Pocket PC. 1. Install the synchronization tool on the PC. Install the synchronization tool before connecting your Pocket PC to your PC using the USB cable.
