Drawing upon our considerable experience in the production of professional switching products, SmartView World offers the flexibility that you need, together with the reliability that you expect. At its heart SmartView World is a high quality Keyboard, Video & Mouse (KVM) switch that simultaneously connects four operators to any of sixteen computer systems. Unlike more basic switches, those operators are not all confined to the location of the switch. Thanks to in-built circuitry, two of the operators can be placed up to 200m away (requiring additional receiver units) and one port is accessible from almost anywhere worldwide, thanks to a self-contained IP section. Two extended users The extended users feed into ports 1 and 3. These can be used in conjunction with the locally connected users of those two ports. Control of each dual access port is arbitrated by the SmartView World. Optional Adder extender units Three locally connected users SmartView World Remote users linked via IP (Internet or Intranet) connections IP connection Up to sixteen directly connected computers or many more when used with other switches What’s in the box What you may additionally need KVM cables One set per connected computer Part number: VKVM-xM (where x is the cable length in metres: 1, 2, 5 or 10) CCUSB converter Required to connect with computers that use a USB port to connect their keyboard and mouse Part number: CCUSB-xM (where x is the cable length in metres: 2, 5 or 10) SmartView World CCSUN converter Required to connect Sun computers that use a mini-DIN port to connect their keyboard and mouse Part number: CCSUN-xM (where x is the cable length in metres: 2, 5 or 10) Power supply and countryspecific power lead Serial cable for IP setup Six Self-adhesive rubber feet Master power switch for connection to SmartView World or standalone Ethernet operation (part number: EPS-M8) Slave power switches for connection to SmartView World or master power switch (part number: EPS-...
