It’s your technique that will make or break this effect. Determines the depth of resonance Selects whether the pitch of the sweep goes down or up as the guitar volume level attenuates. Mixes between the Dry signal and the Effected Signal (Setting this to 100% will produce only the chorus effect.) Overall Level of this Effect Block A “tone control” for the Resonator. A complete selection of mono, stereo, modulation and tempo delays are available, each capable of creating subtle or dramatic ambient effects. When you recall a Program that uses the same patch, Delay feedback of the previous program will remain effective. , Delay 1 Straight ahead, no nonsense single delay. In many cases this is the right tool for the job, and with delay time and feedback, the FX770 is right on time! Ratio Sets the time of the Delay. Controls the amount of repeats. Mixes between the Dry signal and the Delay effect (Setting this to 100% will produce only the chorus effect.) Overall Level of this Effect Block Selects from tight to slightly altered delays. Adjusts the pan position of the Delay effect if it is unbalanced due to a high DEF parameter value. A “tape-echo” EQ for the delays. As the value increases, the high range of the repeated sound attenuates gradually, resulting in a very natural echo. 52 Section 7: Reference Delay^ 2 ~ This Delay allows you to set independent Left/Right and feedback loop delay time. Mastering this delay will achieve a stereo delay that pans between hard left and right, as well as a ping-pong delay. Feedback Level Determines the amount of feedback repeats. Mix Balance Mixes between the Dry signal and the Delay effect (Setting this to 100% will produce only the chorus effect.) Output Level Overall Level of this Effect Block Left/Right Balance High Freq. Ratio Adjusts the pan position of the Delay effect if it is unbalanced due to a difference in Delay time between Left Ch. and Right Ch. A “tape-echo” EQ for the delays. As the value increases, the high range of the repeated sound attenuates gradually, resulting in a very natural echo. 53 Section 7: Reference Modulation Delay Delays that seem to move or modulate when they are heard! That’s the beauty of Modulation Delay, and that’s why you’ll love this feature of the FX770. Type 3: MDL (Modulation Delay) 11 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 MDL DLY FB XXX.
