-Not recommended for children who can sit up by themselves (6 months approximately, until 9 kg, 20 lbs). • Never leave child unattended. • It is dangerous to use this product on an elevated surface. 11 Set-Up & Use • Place your child in the seat. Position the crotch belt between your child’s legs. • Fasten the waist belts to the crotch belt.Make sure you hear a “click” on both sides. • Check to be sure the restraint system is securely attached by pulling it away from your child.The restraint system should remain attached. Securing Your Child To tighten the restraint straps: • Feed the anchored end of the restraint strap up through the buckle to form a loop . Pull the free end of the restraint strap . To loosen the restraint straps: • Feed the free end of the restraint strap up through the buckle to form a loop . Enlarge the loop by pulling on the end of the loop toward the buckle. Pull the anchored end of the restraint strap to shorten the free end of the restraint strap . 1 2 Waist Belt Restraint Waist Belt Crotch Belt Loosen Anchored End Free End Tighten Free End Anchored End 12 Set-Up & Use Power Dial Power Dial Starting the Swing • Turn the power dial to any of eight settings. • Give the seat a light push to start the swinging motion. Adjust the swing power dial to the desired swing motion setting. Hint: As with most battery-powered swings, a heavier child will reduce the amount of swinging motion on all settings. In most cases, the low setting works best for a smaller child while the high setting works best for a larger child. • If swinging stops while using a lower setting, try a higher setting. Give the seat a light push to start the swinging motion again. • Be sure to turn this product off when not in use. Parent Activated • Slide the lights and music switch to: When baby pulls either toy on the arch, one tune plays along with twinkling lights. On this setting, six tunes (approximately 10 minutes) play along with dancing lights. On this setting, music plays for about 10 minutes. Turns lights and music off. • Turn the volume dial to a comfortable listening level. IMPORTANT! Low battery power may cause this product to operate erratically (no sounds/movement) and the product may not turn off. Remove and throw away all four batteries and replace with four, new LR14 alkaline batteries. Set-Up & Use Room-to-Room Portability • To prevent serious injury or death from falls and being strangled in the restraint system, always use the restraint system. • It is dangerous to use this product on an elevated surface. WARNING •Make sure your child is properly secured in the swing seat. • With baby facing forward and outward, lift the swing using the handle. • Carefully carry the swing to another room.
