Do not use hands to search for suspected leaks; Use a piece of cardboard or wood, instead, If injured by escaping fluid, see a medical doctor at once. This fluid can produce gangrene or a severe allergic reaction. • Check any leaks from fuel pipes or fuel injection pipes. Use eye protection when checking for leaks. Be careful not to empty the fuel tank. Otherwise air may enter the fuel system, requiring fuel system bleeding. NOTE: The lubricating oil and lubricating oil filter interval can be adjusted based on application, fuel consumption, gross vehicle weight, and idle time. For engines whose aspiration is jacket water- cooled, turbocharged only, or natural, refer to Table in the Oil Drain Intervals section. 2.
