• You can use the AC Adapter EH-67 (available separately) to power the camera from an electrical outlet. Do not use any other make or model of AC adapter as it may cause the camera to heat up or malfunction. C Printing Images In addition to printing images transferred to a computer from your personal printer and printing over a direct camera-to-printer connection, the following options are also available for printing images saved on the memory card: • Inserting the memory card into a DPOF-compatible printer’s card slot • Taking the memory card to a digital photo lab When using these methods to print, you can use the Print order option in the playback menu to specify which images will be printed and how many copies of each image will be printed, and save these settings on the memory card (E42). Connecting the Camera to a Printer 1 Turn off the camera. 2 Turn on the printer. • Check printer settings. Reference Section E24 3 Connect the camera to the printer using the included USB cable. • Be sure that connectors are properly oriented, do not insert the cable at an angle, and do not use excessive force. When disconnecting the cable, do not remove the cable at an angle. 4 Turn on the camera. • When properly connected, the PictBridge startup screen is displayed in the camera monitor, followed by the Print selection screen.
