The RBRC™ program provides a convenient alternative to placing spent nickel-cadmium battery packs into the trash or municipal waste stream which is illegal in some areas. The RBRC™program makes it easy for you to drop off the spent battery pack at local retailers of replacement nickel-cadmium batteries. You may also contact your local recycling center for information on where to return the spent battery pack. RBRC™ is a trademark of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation.. Battery Removal Before attempting to disassemble this tool, turn it on and run it in either direction until it stops to ensure a complete discharge of the batteries. Use a flat bladed screwdriver to pry up the locking clip, as shown in Figure 3. Remove the locking clip from the tool. Pull the gear case off of the tool. Take the two body halves apart and you will find the batteries. Lift the batteries out and pull off the terminal clips. MAINTENANCE Use only mild soap and damp cloth to clean the tool. Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid. IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and adjustment should be performed by authorized service centers or other qualified service organizations, always using identical replacement parts. If defective, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Simply provide proof of purchase and return the tool to your place of purchase. Normal wear or damage due to abuse, mishandling or unauthorized repair is not covered. This warranty does not apply to accessories. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the performance or results of this product, within thirty days of original purchase, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
