Our appliances can be used with mains and sine-controlled inverters. Mains- controlled inverters are used for photovoltaic systems which are connected directly to the national grid. Sine-controlled inverters must be used for isolated applications (e.g. on ships or in mountain lodges) which are not connected directly to the national grid. en Getting to know your appliance Please fold out the illustrated last page. See chapter entitled “Super cooling” or “Super freezing”. en 7 Setting buttons You can use the “+” and “–” button to set the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartment. In addition, special functions can be switched on and off. 8 “light” button If the button is pressed, the background light on the display can be switched on at a greater luminosity for approx. 10 seconds. 9 Alarm button Used to switch off the warning signal, see chapter “Alarm function”. 10 “timer” button 0 This function can be used to cool drinks quickly and reliably in the freezer compartment. When the button has been pressed, a warning signal automatically sounds after 20 minutes. The drinks are cooled ready. Display 3 indicates the remaining time. When the “alarm” button is pressed, the warning signal is switches off. To reduce the preset time of 20 minutes, press the “timer” button and set the required time with the selection button 7.
