Once the appliance is plugged in the reading on the LCD will flash for a few seconds to show the default humidity setting. When the reading stops flashing, after a few seconds, it will display a fixed value (this fixed value is the humidity percentage in the room). Use the power selector (2) to select the desired fan speed, being high (a) or low (b). The automatic disconnection pilot lamp (d) will light up and the LCD screen will briefly show the number of hours (flashing) after which the appliance will switch itself off. 1, 2, 3,…up to 12 hours can be selected. After a few seconds the LCD screen will revert back to a constant reading of the room's relative humidity value. The automatic disconnection pilot lamp (d) will remain lit. If you wish to modify the selected disconnection time, just repeat the operation and select a new disconnection time or "0" if you wish to cancel automatic disconnection. Attention: To ensure that the dehumidifier does the work that it was designed to do, make sure that the selected humidity level is always lower than the room's actual humidity level, otherwise the dehumidifier will work as a fan, being unable to dehumidify the air. 4. DEFROST The appliance is equipped with an automatic defrost system. This will come on from time to time and the defrost pilot lamp (f) will light up when the temperature inside the dehumidifier becomes very low. This system ensures that the dehumidifier operates correctly. When the process has finished, the appliance will go back to normal operation automatically. 5. EMPTYING THE TANK When the water reaches a set level inside the tank, the red tank full warning lamp (e) will light up and the dehumidifier will stop automatically. Remove the tank, empty its content and fit it back into position. The dehumidifier will start up again automatically. Use the handle fitted to the tank for carrying it and empty the content.
