The specifications are subject to change without notice for purposes of improvement, etc. 3-5 Input/Output Terminals Input/Output Terminals To connect the camera to an audio input/output device, contact input/output device, AC adapter or external power supply, use dedicated interface cables. All interface cables come with dedicated terminals for connection with the camera. Check the shape of each terminal thoroughly and insert the terminal in the correct direction. VB-C500 Viewer and VK-Lite Viewer can be used to check the conditions of external device inputs and operate external device outputs. The - terminals are connected to the GND in the camera. Two-wire cables are connected to the + and - terminals to achieve electrical continuity or insulation between the two terminals for notification to the viewer. Note For the sensors and switches to be connected, connect terminals that are electrically isolated from each power supply or GND. • External Device Output Terminals (OUT1, OUT2) There are two sets of external device output terminals (OUT1, OUT2), where each set consists of two terminals. Each terminal set has no polarity. The condition between the two terminals can be switched between connected and disconnected by controlling from the viewer. The output terminals are isolated from the internal circuits of the camera using optical couplers. P. 1-22) Use a .3.5 monaural mini jack connector to connect the audio interface cable and audio input/ output device. Input/Output Terminals • Audio Input, Used as Both LINE IN and MIC IN (Monaural Input) Connects the camera to a microphone. As for audio input of this camera, two types of microphones, LINE IN and MIC IN types, are supported. Note that the camera only has one audio input.
