Do not hold the Built-in USB arm or multi-connector cover. Attach the strap and place your hand through its loop to prevent the camera from sinking or damage by being dropped. Black bands appear on the left and right of the screen during playback on TV or computer. ON/OFF (Power) button 2 Slide the multi-connector cover knob in the direction of the arrow as illustrated and open the multi-connector cover. 3 Slide the USB jack knob. The Built-in USB arm comes out as shown in the illustration. 4 Connect the camera to the computer that is turned on. The charge lamp lights up in orange, and charging starts. When the charge lamp turns off, charging is finished. • The charge lamp may turn off when the temperature is outside of the recommended operating temperature (10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F)). • The charge icon is displayed on the LCD screen when charging is started. However, the icon disappears after a while. • If the battery level is low (low battery), the charge icon may not be displayed on the LCD screen.
