Long PRESS [C] 2. Short PRESS [SAVE] To cancel a Unit Price: 1. Long PRESS the [C] key. 2. Short PRESS the [SAVE] key. ^sSortPRESS 3-7 Using World Scale World Scale Using Tare (WC30) You have the following options available on your WC30 Price Computing Scale: ♦ Platter Tare (WC30) ♦ Cumulative Tare (WC30) ♦ Retaining a Tare (WC30) ♦ Cancelling a Retained Tare (WC30) ♦ Keypad-Entered Tare (WC30) Note If you have a Tare in the scale’s memory and the scale goes into Sleep mode, the Tare will be lost. When you have a Tare in the World Scale’s memory, you will see a left arrow ( 4 ) on the left side of the Operator Display Screen, next to the word “net”. Platter Tare (WC30) Use Platter Tare when you are weighing one type of product, one time. QUICK STEPS -Platter Tare (WC30) 1. Place empty container on scale 2. Short PRESS [TARE] 3. Place product into container 4. TYPE Unit Price 5. Net Weight, Unit Price and Total Price display 6. Remove product and container To use Platter Tare: 1. Place the empty container onto the scale. 2. Short PRESS the [TARE] key. 3. Place the product into the empty container on the scale. 4. TYPE the Unit Price using a Short PRESS on the Keypad. 5. The screen will display Net Weight, Unit Price and Total Price. 6. Remove the product and container from the scale. 1570 J?E .40 Using World Scale 3-8 World Scale Cumulative Tare (WC30) Use Cumulative Tare when you are adding different products to one package to get a Total Price, such as a container of assorted cheeses. Note The Total Price is retained until you cancel it. QUICK STEPS - Cumulative Tare (WC30) 1. Place empty container on scale 2. Short PRESS [TARE] 3. Place product into container 4. TYPE Unit Price 5. Short PRESS [ADD] 6. Keep product and container on scale 7. Repeat Steps 3-6 till finished 8. Remove products and container 9. Short PRESS [ADD] 10. Cancel Total Price To use Cumulative Tare: 1. Place the empty container onto the scale. 2. Short PRESS the [TARE] key. 3. Place the product into the container. 4. TYPE the Unit Price using a Short PRESS on the Keypad. 5. Short PRESS the [ADD] key. 6. Keep the product and container on the scale. 7. Repeat Steps 3 through 6 until all products have been weighed. 3-9 Using World Scale World Scale Retaining a Tare (WC30) QUICK STEPS - Retaining a Tare (WC30) 1. Short PRESS [SAVE] 2. Place empty container onto scale 3. Short PRESS [TARE] 4. Place product into container 5. TYPE Unit Price, if needed 6. Remove product and container 7. Repeat Steps 4-6 till finished 8. Remove last product and container 9. Cancel Tare, if needed 10. Cancel Unit Price 8. Remove the products and container. 9. Short PRESS the [ADD] key again to view the Total Price. 10. You would want to retain a Tare when you are weighing many packages of the same type product, with the same packaging (i.e., the Tare is always the same amount). Note The Tare is retained until you cancel it. The Total Price is retained until you cancel it. The Unit Price is retained, so you only need to enter it if it is not the same as what is in the scale’s memory. To retain a Tare while weighing: 1. Short PRESS the [SAVE] key. 2. Place the empty container onto the scale. 3. Short PRESS the [TARE] key. 4. Place a product into the container. ^sSortPRESS Using World Scale 3-10 World Scale 5. TYPE the Unit Price (if different) using a Short PRESS on the Keypad. 6. Remove the product and the container. Repeat Steps 4 been weighed. r 3 7. QUICK STEPS -Keypad-Entered Tare (WC30) 1. TYPE Tare value 2. Short PRESS [TARE] 3. Place product on scale 4. TYPE Unit Price 5. Net Weight, Unit Price and Total Price display 6. Remove product from scale 7. Cancel Tare, if needed To use the Keypad to enter Tare: 1. TYPE the Tare value using a Short PRESS on the Keypad. 2. Short PRESS the [TARE] key. 3. Place the prepackaged product on the scale. 4. TYPE the Unit Price...
