5055 Capacity 2200 g Envelopes/Smalt Packages Please take a lew minutes to read Operator’s Wanuai so that you can become acquainted with the proper usage and special features of your PELOUZE DIGITAL SCALE. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS • PRESS “ZERO" TO RETURN DISPLAY TO V g BEFORE EACH WEIGHING AND 8EFORE PLACING MATERIAL ON PLATFORM. • PRESS “ON” Display will briefly show 5055 followed by ‘[An* and the “0* g. • Mow in readout moves to desired mode indicated on platform label. PRESS “RATE” tmlildesired rats mode vindicated. When using adapter, il display fluctuates between*---* and numbers, reverse adapter,in wall outlet. Note: AfterScale has been turned off and then again turned on, display wiH always relum to “O' in gram moda. PRESS “OFF" to turn off scale. ENTERING RATE PROGRAMING MODE 1 Obtain the current Canadian rata chart. 2 With scale off, press and hold down tha "enter” key. Then tum scale on using the rocker switch. Hold down the “enter1’ key until “UPdt" appears in tha display. Your are now in the rate programming mode. SELECTING A RATE TABLE. 3 The display now reads “SELt”. Use the “select" key to select which rate category you wish to update. Press “enter1* to enteryour selection. UPDATING THE RATE/WEIGHT TABLE 4 The heaviest of the rate category selected will appear in the display. Notice that the far right number is flashing. Reter to the new rate chart to determine if the top weight in this rate category has charged. 11 the new top weight is different, use the and " v keys to change the value of the number, higheror lower, respectively (’Hold the keys down to quickly scroll the value). Press “enter" when the proper top weight value is reached. 5 The weight value ol the first rate will appear in the display. Check this weight with your new rale chart If it is different, follow the procedure described in Step 3 to change the weight to its proper value. Press "enter” to enter the weight 6 The old rate will appear in the display. Use the same procedure as before to change the value. Press “enter” to enter the rate. 7 Tha second weight ol the rate category wl appear in the display. Continue updating the rest of the rale table as described in Steps 4 & S. When the last rate is entered "End“ will briefly appear in the display, followed by “SELt”. You may now select a different rale category to update, or, tum the scaie off. These instructions ere also located on the bottom ot your scale. Err 1 = Indicates 0 (zero) has been enlered as a rate value. The scale will not accept this. Check the rate value and try again. Err 2 = indicates a weight value has been entered that Is greater than the top weight value. Check the weight value and try again. HOLD feature 'Locks In* tíre weight ol a large package or envelope when display is obscured during weighing. When the HOLD feature is enabled, package or tetter weight remains displayed for an additional 3*5 seconds after package/envelope removal. To activate HOLD mode*. PRESS HOLD/CALE button until Hold APPEARS in display. To deactivate HOLD mode: PRESS HOLO/CALE button until *disH’ APPEARS in display. FEATURES AUTOMATIC OFF:Scale will automatically turn off after approximately 30 seconds of inactivity (no weight change). This proiongs Battery fife. To deactivate Automatic OH: While scale is ofi, PRESS and hold "gVoz". While still holding 'tf/oz* PRESS T on switch located on right side oi scale until *SHoF appears in display. To reactivate automatic OH; PRESS '0* to tum off SCALE When scale ts again turned on. Automatic Off will again apply. OVERLOAD WARNING: Flashing “Help” indicates you have exceeded scale capacity.
