Поставьте регулятор режимов отпаривания (1) в положение “ОЯУ’ Нажмите кнопку подачи пара (4) и кнопку увлажнения (3). Переверните утюг и слегка потрясите его. ЧИСТКА Перед чисткой отключите утюг от сети и дайте ему остыть. Протрите поверхность утюга влажной тканью, используя жидкое чистящее средство (не используйте абразивные вещества). Избегайте резких соприкосновений с металлическими предметами. УВЛАЖНЕНИЕ При любой температуре глажения для смачивания ткани водой нужно нажать кнопку разбрызгивания (3). Иногда необходимо нажать кнопку несколько раз. При этом в емкости (13) должна находиться вода. ГЛАЖЕНИЕ БЕЗ ПАРА Включите сетевой шнур (5) в розетку. Установите регулятор режимов отпаривания (1) в позицию “DRY”. На терморегуляторе (8) выберите подходящую для изделия температуру глаженья. Когда лампочка индикатора (6) погаснет, можно начинать гладить. ПАРОВОЕ ГЛАЖЕНИЕ Включите сетевой шнур (5) в розетку. SURGE OF STEAM The Surge of Steam provides an extra burst of steam, which is ideal for removal of stubborn creases and wrinkles during Steam or DRY ironing. - turn the temperature dial to the hottest selling within the Steam area (• • »or LINEN) and wait until the heating indicator light goes out. - Lift the iron slightly above the surface of the fabric, press the Surge of Steam button down firmly and then release it during ironing. An intense burst of steam penetrates deep into the fabric. For optimum steam quality, leave an interval or at least four seconds between pressing the Surge of Steam button. NOTE: The Surge of Steam can be used when the Steam Selector is in maximum setting. For a stronger surge of steam set the Steam Selector on the "DRY' position. VERTICAL IRONING The Vertical Steam system allows you to use the Iron for vertical ironing. This is especially useful for getting wrinkles out of hanging clothes, curtains, wall hangings, etc. Hold the iron vertically in front of the item to be steamed and press the Surge of Steam button. WARFIING: Never iron clothes on the body SPRAYING Spray may he used to dampen difficult fabrics, dry areas, wool items and accidental creases. Press the spray button firmly to produce a fine spray of water ahead of the iron, and continue ironing. Spray may also be used with delicate (synthetic) fabrics, which are ironed at a low temperature and thus cannot be steam-ironed. 7 1208.qxd 03.07.03 16:49 Page 16 ENGLISH AFTER USE Set the steam selector knob to 'DRY. Disconnect from the mains supply. Open the water filling inlet cover. Invert iron and shake the iron to empty the water tank, and then stand the iron in an upright position to allow cooling. In order to save space the power cord may be easily wound around the cord stowage facility after the iron has cooled. Always store the iron (with water empted from water tank) on its heel rest, not on the soleplate. Even the smallest amount of moisture will cause corrosion and staining of the soleplate if the iron is stored with the soleplate facing downwards. CLEANING THE IRON 1. Disconnect the iron from the mains supply outlet. 2. Use a damped cloth or non-scratching cleaner to remove any deposits on the sole plate or the cabinets. 3. Never use sharp or rough objects to remove the deposits on the sole plate. 4. Never use any abrasive, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.
