To connect the TV to your home network . . . 1 - Connect your network router to the Internet, if it was not connected yet (a broadband Internet connection). 2 - Connect the TV to your network router. You can do this wireless or wired. In Help, press L List and look up Netwo rk, wireless or Network, wired for more information. Media server so f tware If you want to view your photos or play your music and videos from your computer on the TV, you have to ins tall media server software on your computer. Setup this media server software to share your files on your home network. This TV uses the DLNA protocol and is compatible with other DLNA devices. In Help, press L List and look up D LNA, supported media servers for the list of media server software that is compatible with the TV. Digital Media Renderer -D MR If your media files do not play on your TV, make sure that the Digitial Media Renderer is switched on. As a factory setting, DMR is s witched on. To check if DMR is switched On . . . 1 - Press h and select S Setup and press OK. 2 - Select Network settings and press OK. 3 - Select Digital Media Renderer -DMR and press OK. 4 - Select On and press OK. 5 - Press b, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu. TV network name If you have more than one TV in your home network, you can rename the TV in Network settings . To rename your TV . . . 1 - Press h and select S Setup and press OK. 2 - Select Network settings and press OK. 3 - Select TV network name and press OK to show the current name. You can us e the keyboard on the remote control to change the TV network name. 4 - Select Done and press OK when ready. 5 - Press b, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu. Smart TV / MyRemote App Apple iPad To download the app on your iPad, go to the Apple App Store and look for the Philips MyRemote HD app. Download the App The MyRemote app is available for mobile devices running In the MyRemote home menu you can find the following Apple iOS or Andriod. functions . . . • SimplyShare Apple iPhone • Net TV To download the app on your iPhone, go to the Apple App • Control Store and look for the Philips MyRemote app. If you have a tablet, you also find . . . • TV guide Andriod To download the app on your Andriod device, go to the Andriod Market and look for the Philips MyRemote app. SimplyShare MyRemote home menu With SimplyShare, you can send media files (photos, music or videos) from a device in your home network to another. When you download the MyRemote app, it will appear on the home menu of your smartphone or tablet. Tap the icon of MyRemote to start. To open SimplyShare in the MyRemote app, tap theSimplyShare button in the home menu. Smart TV / MyRemote App Select a device to send media from 1 - Tap the white bar at the top to open the list of available devices . 2 - Tap a device in the list. Net TV With the Net TV button in the MyRemote home menu, you can open Net TV / Smart TV on your TV. To open Net TV / Smart TV on your TV, tap the Net TV button in the MyRemote home menu. You can use the remote control of the MyRemote app to browse the pages . With the MyRemote app keyboard, you can easily enter text on TV. TV guide If you have a tablet, you can call up the TV guide of your TV on your tablet. You can cons ult the TV s chedule and read programme info. You can tap the programme title to s witch to the TV channel directly. To open the TV guide, tap the TV guide button on the MyRemote home menu. The first time you tap the TV guide button, you will be asked to link up the tablet and TV. Preparation Before you link tablet and TV, check if the TV guide is updated from the Internet. 1 - Press h and select S Setup and press OK. 2 - Select TV settings > General settings > TV guide. 3 - Select From the Internet and press OK. 4 - Press b, repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu. Link up with the TV To link up the tablet with the TV guide of the TV . . . 1 - Press GUI D E on the remote control to open the TV guide on TV. 2 - Press the * (yellow) key to open the list of detected mobile devices. 3 - Select the device in the list and press OK to view the code to link up. 4 - On the tablet, start the MyRemote App and tap the Setup button on the home menu. 5 - Tap the TV guide item. 6 - Enter the code to link up.
