This menu itemallows you todisable the automatic setting of daylightsaving time. Thisis useful ifyou live in an areaor state wheredaylight saving isnot applied, but you receivechannels from otherareas where daylight saving signals arebroadcasted. 1 Press MENU. The main menu screen will appear. 2 Press VOL+/-button to select DTV SETUP option, then press CH-button to enter. 3 Press CH+/-button to select DAYLIGHT SAVING, then press VOL+/-button to select ON for automatic clock correction for daylight saving time, based on specially broadcasted signals. Select OFF to disable automatic clock correction based on the specially broadcasted signals. 0101 DTVCC DAYLIGHT SAVING OFF TIME ZONE ALASKA ATSC PARENTAL LOCK DTV SETUP SETTING THE TIME ZONE This function allowsyou to selectyour local timezone. Broadcasted time informationwill correct theclock display for your localtime. 1 Press MENU. SLEEP TIMER Toset the TV to turnoff after apreset amount oftime, press SLEEP button repeatedly to select the number ofminutes. First the OFF option appears onthe screen, followed by thefollowing sleep timer options: (5 MINUTE,10 MINUTE,15 MINUTE, 30 MINUTE,45 MINUTE,60 MINUTE, 90 MINUTE,120 MINUTE, SLEEP OFF 180 MINUTE, 240MINUTE,OFF) To confirm the sleeptimer setting, press SLEEP and the remaining time will bedisplayed for afew seconds. To cancel thesleep timer, Press SLEEP repeatedly until the display turns toOFF. PICTURE MODE Press the P.MODE button toswitch desired picture qualitymode.
