Note: 1)If the TV receives Mono broadcasts, press the SAP button repeatedly, the word Mono appears on the screen . 2)When the TV receives Mono SAP broadcasts, press the SAP button repeatedly, the words Mono and SAP will alternate to appear on the screen. 3)When the TV receives Stereo broadcasts, press the SAP button repeatedly, the words Mono and Stereo will alternate to appear on the screen. 4)When the TV receives Stereo SAP broadcasts, press the SAP button repeatedly, the words Mono, Stereo and SAP will alternate to appear on the screen. Using the CLOCK menu CLOCK 1)Press the MENU button repeatedly until the CLOCK menu appears as Time : shown on the right. On-time : Off-time2)Press the CH+ or CH- to select the item you want to adjust.Attention : : : Exchange Position : Adjust : Select The item allows you to set the local time on the TV. Press VOL+ to set hour, the clock counts up one hour for each press of VOL+ button. Press VOL-to set minute, the clock counts up one minute for each press of VOL-button. Note: The time you set in this menu is for reference only. The item allows the TV automatically turns on to a preset channel when preset time comes. Set this item just like the Time setting. The item allows the TV automatically to switch to standby mode when the preset time comes. Set this item just like the Time setting. -13 Using the TV features The item is for reminding you when preset time comes. The screen will display as right shown. It will disappear when you press any button. Set this item just like the Time setting. Attention The item allows the TV automatically to turn to a channel preset in the Position when the preset time comes. Set this item just like the Time setting. The item allows the TV automatically turns to the channel when the preset time in On-time or Exchange comes. Press VOL+ or VOL-to preset a channel. Using the V-CHIP menu V-CHIP enables parents to prevent their children from viewing certain programs or channels. To use the V-CHIP to block programs by rating V-CHIP MENU Block On TV Rating 1)Press the V-CHIP button, then the V-CHIP menu appears as shown on the right. 2)Press the CH+ or CH-to select the item you want to set. MPAA Rating Change password : Adjust : Select There is a default password(0000) preset by manufacturer on the TV. If you want to change it, please follow the steps below. 1)Press VOL+ or VOL-, the screen will display as shown below to ask you to enter the old password. 2) Enter the default password, the TV will ask you to enter a new password. 3) Enter a new password you like, the TV will ask you to enter it again for confirmation. 4)Enter the new password again. Note: 1)If the two new password enters are same, the screen will display that the password has been changed. Otherwise the password remains unchanged. You have to retry. 2)You can only use the channel number buttons(0-9) for the password enter.
