Component output terminals when connected to selected TVs and monitors will produce a higher quality picture playback. Depending on the selected TVs and monitors, the wording of the component input terminals may vary. Due to the wide dynamic range of sound output of the DVD video player, adjust the volume of your receiver to a comfortable listening level to avoid damaging speaker. . Connection to Optional Equipment Enjoying Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound (GOOD) Dolby Pro Logic Surround Enjoy the dynamic realistic sound of Dolby Pro Logic Surround by connecting an amplifier and speaker system (right and left front speakers, a center speaker, and one or two rear speakers). You can enjoy your DVD with a Dolby Digital Surround Sound System. All you need is to connect your DVD player to a Dolby Digital receiver or a Dolby Digital Ready receiver with an external decoder. Connect the OPTICAL output of your player to optical input of the amplifier. How to setup the sound output From the SETUP MENU display, select Audio with DIRECTION buttons, then press ENTER/PLAY. To open and close the disc tray, you may only use the OPEN/CLOSE button on the remote control or DVD video player. This will open the disc tray. Connect this Player with Y, Pr and Pb, if your TV has Progressive Scan & Component Video inputs commonly found on HDTV sets. Press I/P button on remote control unit to switch between Interlace & Progressive Scan mode. FOR A HIGHER QUALITY PICTURE DVD discs produce a high resolution picture.
