Battery Installation 1. Slide the OFF/ON/AUDIO ONLY selector to the "OFF” position. 2. Open the door of the rear battery compartment 3. Load 5 “AAA" 1,5V batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the polarity (+/-) of the batteries matches the markings on the inside of the compartment. 4. Close the door of the battery compartment . Caution: Improper use of batteries may damage the circuitry of this unit. 1. Ensure that the polarity of each battery loaded matches the polarity indicated by the markings inside the compartment. 2. Do not use different types of batteries at the same time (ie, alkaline and rechargeables). 3. Do not use old and new batteries together. 4. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time. 5. Do not charge non-rechargeable battery types (ie, alkaline). Do not heat or disassemble batteries. 6. If the batteries should leak, carefully remove them and clean the compartment with a diy cloth. Alkaline batteries are recommended for this unit. 6 2. TV Operation Instructions 1. AC Power: Insert the AC Adapter plug into the Power Input Jack and plug the other end into an AC wall socket. DC Power: Load 5 “AAA” 1,5V batteries into the battery compartment. 2. Slide the OFF/ON/AUDIO ONLY selector to the “ON" position. The Power Indicator LED will light up. 3. Extend the antenna. 4. Press the AUTO button to search for all possible TV channels. 5. Press the CH+/CH buttons to change the channel up or down, respectively 6. Use the Volume Control dial to adjust the volume level. 7. Use the Brightness Control dial to adjust the brightness of the screen. 8. To turn off the unit, slide the OFF/ON/AUDIO ONLY selector to the “OFF” position. 4. AUDIO ONLY Operation Instructions 1. Slide the OFF/ON/AUDIO ONLY selector to the “AUDIO ONLY' position. The Power Indicator LED will light up. 2. Extend the antenna. 3. Press the AUTO button to search for all possible TV channels. 4. Press the CH+/CH buttons to change the channel up or down, respectively. 5. Use the Volume Control dial to adjust the volume level. 6. To turn off the unit, slide the OFF/ON/AUDIO ONLY selector to the “OFF” position. Note: The number of channels available for selection depends on the reception quality and may change from time to time. If the broadcast signal of a particular channel is too weak for reception, the AUTO sourcing feature will skip the channel. To improve reception, try adjusting the antenna's direction, move to a different location, or attach an external antenna to the unit.
