Settings Accounts & sync Background data – Permits applications to synchronise data in the background, whether or not you are actively working in them. Un-selecting this setting can save battery power and lowers (but does not eliminate) data use. Auto-sync – Permits applications to synchronise, send and receive data on their own schedule. < Manage accounts > List of all Google accounts and other accounts you’ve added to your phone. Privacy < Personal data > Factory data reset – Erases all of your personal data from internal phone storage, including information about your Google account, any other accounts, your system/application data and settings, any downloaded applications and your DRM licence. Resetting the phone does not erase any system software updates you have downloaded or any files on your microSD card, such as music or photos. If you reset the phone in this way, you are prompted to re-enter the same information as when you first started Android. SD card & phone storage < USB connection mode > Your phone can be used as a mass storage device. You can set the default USB connection mode setting to Mass storage only. < SD card > Check total space and available space. Touch Unmount SD card for safe removal. Format SD card, if you want to delete all data from the microSD card. You must unmount a microSD card before you can format it. < Internal phone storage > Check the Available space. Language & keyboard Use the Language & keyboard settings to select the language and region for the text on your phone and for configuring the onscreen keyboard, including words that you’ ve added to its dictionary. Voice input & output < Voice input > Voice recogniser settings – Use the Voice recogniser settings to configure the Android voice input feature. < Voice output > Text-to-speech settings – Use the Text-to-speech settings to configure the Android text-to-speech synthesiser for applications that can take advantage of it. NOTE: If you don’t have speech synthesiser data installed, only the Install voice data setting is available. Accessibility Use the Accessibility settings to configure any accessibility plug-ins you have installed on your phone. NOTE: Requires additional plug-ins to become selectable. Dock settings LG-P970 supports a car dock. You can use the Dock settings, to set your preferences for how the phone and the dock interact. WARNING: Only works on the dock for LG-P970. Audio - Available when LG-P970 is inserted in a car dock. For a car dock, opens Car Home application. Your settings apply only to the dock for LG-P970. Dock insertion sound - Check to play a sound when inserting or removing the phone from a dock. Settings Date & time Use Date & time settings to set your preference for how dates are displayed.
