The basics Camera Taking a quick photo 1 Press the camera key on the right hand side of the handset. 2 Holding the phone horizontally, point the lens towards the subject of the photo. 3 Slightly press the camera key. The white viewfinder box in the centre of the screen will change to red as the camera attempts to focus. 4 When the focus box turns green, the camera has focused on your subject. 5 Press the camera key fully. After you’ve taken your photo Your captured photo will appear on screen. The name of the image runs along the bottom of the screen and five icons will appear. Touch to take another photo straightaway. Your current photo will be saved. Touch to look at the other photos in your album. Your current photo will be saved. Touch to send the photo as an MMS, Email or via Bluetooth. You can also print the photo using Bluetooth. Touch to set the photo you have just taken as your wallpaper. Touch to delete the photo you have just taken and confirm by touching Yes. The viewfinder will reappear. Camera Adjusting the brightness Slide the brightness indicator along the bar, towards for a lower brightness image or towards for a higher brightness image. Using the advanced settings From the viewfinder touch to open all the advanced settings options. Image size - Change the size of the photo to save on memory space or take a picture preset to the correct size to attach to a contact. Image quality - Choose between Super fi ne, Fine and Normal. The finer the quality the sharper a photo will be but the file size will increase as a result, which means you’ll be able to store fewer photos in your memory. White balance - The white balance ensures that any white in your photo is realistic. In order for your camera to correctly adjust the white balance you may need to determine the light conditions. Choose from Auto, Incandescent, Sunny, Fluorescent or Cloudy. Colour tone - Choose a colour tone to apply to the photo you’re taking. Self-timer - The self-timer allows you to set a delay after the capture button is pressed. Choose from 3 seconds, 5 seconds or 10 seconds. Great for that group photo you want to be part of. Burst shot - The camera will take a series of shots (three, six or nine). This setting does not appear unless image size is 320x240. Frame shot -You can choose to apply a frame to the photo you take. ISO - ISO determines the sensitivity of the camera’s light sensor. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the camera will be. This is useful in darker conditions when the flash can’t be used. Choose an ISO value from Auto, ISO 100, ISO 200 or ISO 400. Shutter sound - Select one of the pre-set shutter sounds. Swap cam - Switch between the LG KB770’s inner camera and Outer camera. Memory in use - Choose whether to save your photos to the 01 Handset memory or to the External 02 memory. 03 Wide view - Choose between Off and On. 04 Reset settings - Choose Yes to 05 reset your phone to its original camera 06 settings. Note: Always touch Close after 07 selecting a new setting to implement 08 the changes you’ve made. TIP! The settings menu is superimposed over the viewfinder, so when you change elements of the image colour or quality you’ll be able to see the image change in preview behind the settings menu. Remember to touch Close before exiting to apply any changes.
