These functions are arranged in menus and submenus. The menus and submenus can be accessed by scrolling or by using the shortcuts. Accessing a Menu Function by Scrolling 1. In idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the menu facility. Scroll with or to reach the desired main menu, e.g. Tones. Press the Select soft key to enter the menu. 2. If the menu contains any submenus: for example, Ring Tone, find the one you want by scrolling with or . Press the Select soft key to enter the submenu. If the menu you have selected contains submenus, repeat this step. 3. Scroll with or to find the setting of your choice. Press the Ok soft key to confirm the chosen setting. N o t e s : • You can re t u rn to the previous menu level by p ressing the soft key. • You can exit the menu without changing the menu settings by pressing . Accessing a Menu Function by Using its Shortcut The menu items (menu, submenus and setting options) are numbered and can be accessed quickly by using their shortcut number. The shortcut number is shown at the bottom of the display, next to the soft key. Any-key Answer ON Select 5.1.4 Shortcut number 1. In idle mode, press the Menu soft key. 2. Within three seconds, key in the first digit of the shortcut number. Repeat this for each digit of the shortcut number.
