Remove the Storage Cover. Unwind the cord and plug into a standard electrical outlet. 2. There are 2 cones for different size fruit. The small cone works well with lemons and limes. Place the large cone over the small one to use with oranges or grapefruits. (A) 3. Some models have an adjustable pulp control. This allows more or less pulp to go into the pitcher when you slide the lever to choose light ( ), medium ( ) , or heavy ( ) pulp (B). 4. Cut the fruit in half crosswise. Place the cut side of one half down over the Reamer. (C) Using moderate to firm pressure, press the fruit down to start the juicing action. For your convenience, there are measurements in ounces and milliliters indicated on the pitcher. NOTE: The self-reversing Reamer turns both clockwise and counter-clockwise during use for best juice extraction. This is normal. If the reamer agitates back and forth rapidly, ease up on the pressure to resume juicing. 5. For best results, press and release hand pressure on the fruit to extract the maximum juice. The motor stops automatically when pressure is released or the fruit is lifted from the Reamer. 6. To pour, grip the handle, twist, and lift the Pitcher up off the Base. You can place the Storage Cover over the Pitcher and place it in the refrigerator. Care and Cleaning 1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or when not in use. 2. Pull up on the reamer (and cones) and remove it for easy washing. For models with Pulp Control, flip the Strainer over, press the Tab, and carefully pull the Pulp Control away from the Strainer to separate the parts (D) for cleaning. 3. Rinse the Strainer and Reamer immediately after use. Use a bristle brush to remove fine pulp that may remain. 4. Wash the Cover, Reamer, Strainer, Cones and Pitcher in hot, sudsy water (not in a dishwasher). Wipe the Base with a damp cloth or sponge. Storage 1. Unplug the unit and wrap the cord in the slot around the base for easy storage. 2. Assemble and replace all parts. Use the Storage Cover to keep the unit clean. Need Help? The Service Center nearest you can be found in the yellow pages of your phone book under “Appliances - Small - Repairing.” If mailing or shipping your juicer, pack it carefully in a sturdy carton with enough packing material to prevent damage. Include a note describing the problem to our Service Center and be sure to give your return address. We also suggest that you insure the package for your protection. 1. Retire la tapa protectora. Coloque el lado partido de una mitad sobre el exprimidor. (C) Aplicando presion de moderada a firme, oprima la fruta para iniciar la extraccion del jugo. Para conveniencia suya, la jarra cuenta con medidas en onzas y en milimetros. NOTA: Cuando en uso, el exprimidor auto reversible da vuelta hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda para una mejor extraccion de jugo. Esto es normal. Si el exprimidor agita para un lado y para otro demasiado rapido, merme la presion para continuar extrayendo el jugo. 5.
