Grune Kontrolleuchte 1 leuchtet auf. Der Aktenvernichter ist nun betriebsbereit (Stand-by-Modus). Leuchtet die Sack-voll-Anzeige 2, kann das vernichtete Material noch kompaktiert werden. Dazu Tur des Unterschranks offnen und einige Male auf das Kompaktierungspedal G treten. Nun kann weitervernichtet werden, bis die Maschine erneut abschaltet (Sack-voll-Anzeige). Wieder das Kompaktierungspedal betatigen und den gefullten Auffangsack entnehmen (Plastiksacke sind vom Hersteller lieferbar -siehe Zubehor). Bei extremer Belastung unterbricht der Motorschutzschalter F die Stromzufuhr, Kontrolleuchte 3. leuchtet. Diesen nach kurzer Zeit wieder eindrucken. Bei geoffneter Tur funktioniert die Maschine aus Sicherheitsgrunden nicht. Es leuchtet die rote Kontrolleuchte 4. Wird zuviel Papier zugefuhrt, schaltet die Maschine ab. Kontrolleuchte fur „Reversieren“ 5 leuchtet auf. Bitte reversieren Sie, indem Sie den Mehrfunktionsschalter 0 in Position "R" bringen und fuhren Sie weniger Papier zu. Der IDEAL 4004 verfugt zusatzlich uber eine automatische Leistungsanpassung. Bei kleineren Blattmengen schaltet diese „2-MATIC“ selbstandig in eine hohe Geschwindigkeitsstufe. Es leuchtet die grune Anzeige „SPEED“ 6.Werden gro.ere Papiermengen zugefuhrt, schaltet die „2-MATIC“ auf hohe Schnittkapazitat um.
