Press the power button (right switch) on the aerial. The red and green LEDs light up. If you have connected an external cable TV connection to the aerial’s EXT. ANT socket the aerial is now operational and your television receives signals from the external cable TV system. Proceed to steps 6 and 7. . To use the aerial without an external cable TV connection, press the Intern button (left switch). The green LED changes to orange indicating that the aerial is operational. Your television set now receives signals directly from the SBC TT700 aerial. . Use the instruction manual supplied with your television set to tune to the different channels. Rotate the parabolic UHF dish (see Fig.2) and turn the amplifier control dial (Fig.3) to vary the signal gain until you obtain optimum signal reception. . To obtain the best reception for VHF signals, vary the length and angle of the telescopic aerials. Notes This aerial is powered once it is connected to a 230-240 VAC mains supply. To disconnect the aerial from the mains supply 2 remove the power plug from the mains socket. The base of the aerial has four rubber pads which provide stability and which are ideal for all surfaces. The label containing technical data can be found at the base of the aerial.
