Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) chemical spraying is widely used throughout the world, particularly in the horticultural and viticulture industries where chemical contamination of the soil and fruit has been a critical issue. The turf industry has always grappled with the problems of high volume boom sprayers which can result in massive loss of chemicals through wind drift and wash into the soil, plus an equally high waste of water. CDA technology uses low pressure, low volume application producing a uniform fine droplet pattern which goes directly to the foliage and quickly dries.
