To increase or decrease the display contrast level, press the Left or Right keys. 3. Selecting a language or Information that appears on the display is available in multiple languages. This language setting controls the language only for Avaya 1220 IP Deskphone features. If the Language setting is password-protected, you must enter a password (SCPW) to change the language. If you enter an incorrect password, an error message is displayed. If you enter an incorrect password more than three times, the password functionality is locked. Contact your system administrator to unlock the password. Press the Up or Down keys to scroll, and select the desired language (for example, German [Deutsche]). Note: You cannot install some languages on your IP Deskphone.
