ALARM AND RADIO OPERATION The alarm and radio can be powered by either two (2) AA batteries or an AC adapter (not included). BATTERY OPERATION 1. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) as shown at the right and according to the polarity diagram. First insert the battery labeled “1”, and then the battery labeled “2”. Slide the Band switch 2 to the desired band, AM or FM. 3 Adjust the volume using the Volume control ¶. Slide the AUTO/BUZZ/ ON/OFF switch 2 to the OFF position to turn the unit off. 2 Tune a station by rotating the TUNING ring. Antennas FM: Extend the FM antenna wire (located in the battery compartment) for best reception. AM: Turn the unit for better AM reception.
