SETUP INTRODUCTION Power DISPLAY PM INDICATOR Illuminates when the time is set in the PM. AL INDICATOR Illuminates when the alarm is set and active. BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ ON Adjust to set the alarm to BUZZER or AUTO (radio or iPod), or to turn the clock radio OFF or ON. CLOCK SET Press and hold to adjust the time. VOLUME Turn to adjust the volume. SNOOZE Press, after the alarm sounds, to delay the alarm for an additional 9 minutes. LINE INPUT (3.5mm) FM WIRE ANTENNA DOCK FOR IPOD HOUR/MIN Press to adjust the hour and minute when setting the clock, alarm, or sleep timer. AL SET Press and hold to set the alarm. FM/AM/iPod Adjust to set the clock radio to FM, AM, or iPod mode. SLEEP Press and hold to set the sleep timer. TUNING Turn to adjust the AM or FM radio station. PLAY/PAUSE Press to play or pause a docked iPod. SKIP/SEARCH Press to skip between tracks on a docked iPod. Press and hold to search through an individual track on a docked iPod. DIMMER Use to adjust the brightness of the display. Plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC power outlet to power the clock radio. Battery Backup Requires one 9V battery (not included) For the most up-to-date version of this User’s Guide, go to USER’S GUIDE (V:1227-1211-09) | CI150B - CLOCK RADIO WITH DOCK FOR IPOD CLOCK iPod Radio and Line Input Setting the Sleep Timer Setting the Clock Playing the AM or FM Radio Docking an iPod 1 Adjust the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch to AUTO. 2 While listening to the radio or a docked iPod press and hold the SLEEP button. 3 While holding the SLEEP button, press the HOUR and MIN buttons to adjust the hour and minute to the desired time. 4 Once the desired time is set, release the SLEEP button to finish setting the sleep timer. 5 After the set time has expired the clock radio will automatically power off. 1 Press and hold the CLOCK SET button. 2 While holding the CLOCK SET buttons, press the HOUR and MIN buttons to adjust the hour and minute. 3 Release the CLOCK SET button to finish setting the clock. 1 Locate the numbered bracket that fits the iPod model that will be docked. Each included bracket has a number on it, indicating which iPod model that bracket is compatible with. See the separate bracket chart page to identify which bracket is needed. 2 Snap the bracket into place over the iPod connector in the dock for iPod. 3 Connect the iPod to the connector inside the Dock for iPod. When the clock radio is plugged in, using AC power, the docked iPod will charge. 1 Adjust the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch to AUTO or ON. 2 Adjust the FM/AM/iPod switch to FM or AM. 3 Turn the TUNING dial to adjust the AM or FM radio station. When the LINE INPUT is connected, AM and FM radio or a docked iPod will not play through the clock radio. Setting the Alarm Using the Line Input 1 Press and hold the ALARM SET button. 2 While holding the ALARM SET buttons, press the HOUR and MIN buttons to adjust the hour and minute. 3 Release the ALARM SET button to finish setting the alarm time. 4 Adjust the VOLUME to the desired level. 5 Adjust the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON to BUZZER to wake to the buzzer, or to AUTO to wake to the radio or iPod. 6 If waking to the radio or iPod, adjust the FM/AM/iPod switch to the desired setting. Requires a 3.5mm line input cable (not included) 1 Connect an MP3 player to the LINE INPUT using a 3.5mm line input cable. 2 Adjust the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch to AUTO or ON. 3 Use the native controls on the connected MP3 player to control audio played through the clock radio. When the LINE INPUT is connected, AM and FM radio or a docked iPod will not play through the clock radio. Playing an iPod 1 Follow the instructions for DOCKING AN IPOD. 2 Adjust the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch to AUTO or ON. 3 Adjust the FM/AM/iPod switch to iPod. 4 Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playing the docked iPod. When the LINE INPUT is connected, AM and FM radio or a docked iPod will not play through the clock radio.
