The automatic volume boost can be set to six levels (0-5). “0” means no boost and “5” means maximum boost. . Press the MENU button 8. . Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “VOL” display item. . X-BASS The X-BASS feature can be used to aurally compensate the bass at low volume levels. The X-BASS boost can be set in steps ranging from 0 (off) to 6 (max). If X-BASS is activated, the configured X-BASS boost level will be display alongside the X-BASS symbol in the display. . Press the AUDIO button 9. “AUDIO 1” appears in the display. . Adjusting the display brightness If your car radio has been connected as described in the installation instructions, the display brightness will switch over when the headlights are turned on/ off. The display brightness can be adjusted separately for night and day in steps ranging from 1-6. We recommend setting “6”. Daytime display brightness . Press the MENU button 8. . Setting the button illumination colour The colour of the device’s button illumination can be adjusted (only the softkey colours can be changed on the Miami CD72).
