5 Simple Steps... To make this as easy as possible, youonly need to set the time you want your Space•Saver 6 lights to go off (OffTime) and your built-in light timer automatically sets the On Time...nothing more for you to do. Lights Button Blinking Light (if you selected Herbs) Blinking Light (if you selected Herbs) Lights Button Add Nutrients ReplaceBulbs Salad Greens Flowers Live Plants Vegetables Herbs ReplaceBulbs24-HourLightAddNutrients Personalize Your Light Timer (optional) In case of power failure, your Space•Saver 6 has a backup system that stores light, nutrient & replace bulbs timers and plant selection settings. When power is restored, your Space•Saver 6 will go back to the Off-On cycle you have set. Do the following to set the time you want your lights to go off: Decide when you want the lights to go OFF. AT THAT TIME check that lights are on. If they are off, quickly press and release “Lights” button. (Lights must be on to reset timer.) With lights on, press and hold “Lights” button until the light next to theplant type you selectedstarts blinking – about 5 seconds. Release the button. When blinking stops (about 9 seconds), the lights will go off and your lights are now set to gooff at this time every day. You can reset your timer as often as you wish. 12345Your Space•Saver 6 has lights and a built-in timer that automatically provide your plants with “sunlight” (about 16hours)and“night”(about8hours).Aslongasyourplantsgetthisamountoflight,itdoesnotmatterwhenthelights are turned off.*Manypeoplefinditconvenienttohavethelightsgooninthemorningandoffatnighttomatch their own wake and sleep schedule. *TheexceptionstothisareFlower&Vegetableplants.Theyrequireadailydarkperiodinordertoproduceflowers.Ifyourplantswillreceiveanyroomlight during the day (natural or artificial), we recommend setting your Space•Saver 6 lights to be on during the day. 5 Simple Steps... Space•Saver 6 control Panel LIGHTS ON/OFF Use to occasionally override built-in light timer. Once pushed, lights will stay off/on until thenext time built-in light timer is set to goon/off. This will not affect the timing of yourlight cycle and occasional use of this featurewill not harm your plants. SELECT The number of hours lights are on and offdepends on which plant type is selected. REPLACE BULBS When light illuminates (after 6 months of use), it is time toreplace Deluxe B Grow Bulbs. Additional Grow Bulbs can beordered at or from yourretailer. After replacing Grow Bulbs, press “Reset” button torestart grow bulb timer and turn off light. ADD NUTRIENTS (Feed Garden - Basic Feeding) When “Add Nutrients” light illuminates (every 2weeks), add 2 nutrient tablets and fill Bowl with waterup to “Fill To Here.” Press “Reset” button to restartnutrient timer and turn off light. Space•Saver 6 Elitecontrol Panel LIGHTS ON/OFF Use to occasionally override built-inlighttimer.Oncepushed, lightswillstayoff/onuntilthe nexttimebuilt-inlighttimeris set to go on/off. Use“Select” button to reach “24-Hour Light” setting(see page 9). REPLACE BULBS When light illuminates (after 6 months ofuse), it is time to replace Deluxe B Grow Bulbs. Additional Grow Bulbs can be ordered atfromyour retailer. After replacing Grow Bulbs, press “Reset” button to restart grow bulbtimer and turn off light. 24-HOUR LIGHT White light indicatesSpace•Saver 6 Elite is on24-Hour Light setting.
