SERVICING, OR CLEANING IT. WARNING: This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, Wash your hands after handling. • Read all instructions. • To protect against fire, electric shock and injuring to person, do not immerse cord, plugs etc in water. • This product is intended for household use for boiling water. • Do not use this product to heat or other liquids as their boiling point may be lower than water, posing a serious burn hazard. • Do not use the product for any other purpose. • Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not intended for use by children. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used near children. • Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use. • Place the product on a flat steady, stable, heat-resistant surface. • Do not place the product on or near gas or electric burners. • Do not place the product inside or on top of a heated oven or microwave ovens. • Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer as a risk of fire, electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result. Attachments, when furnished may become hot during use Allow the attachments to completely cool before handling them. • Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle and knobs of the product. Use protective oven mitts or gloves to avoid burns or serious personal injury. • Use extreme caution moving the product when it contains hot water. Allow the product to thoroughly cool before handling it. • This product generates steam during use. Use care to avoid being burned or scalded by the steam. • Keep the Lid in place while heating or operating this product. • Never plug the product into an electrical outlet unless it is properly assembled. • Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (i.e. over the edge of a table or counter) where it may be tripped over or pulled. • Keep the Power Cord and product away from heated surfaces. • Unplug the product from the electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning, washing, or adding water. • Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product, as the Power Cord could fray and break. • Do not operate the product if the Power cord is cut, damaged, or if the wires are exposed. Do not immerse or expose cord or plug to water or other liquids. • Do not place the product in areas or on surfaces (i.e. carpets) that may be damaged by water or moisture. The user shall be solely and exclusively liable for any and all damage that may occur from water-related mishaps related to used of this product. • Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or plug, malfunctions or is not working properly, leaks, has been dropped, or damaged. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing. Return the product to a service center for examination and repair. • This product is intended for indoor, household use only. Do not use outdoors. Si este no es el caso, pongase en contacto con su distribuidor y no utilice el hervidor. 4.Apague y desenchufe el aparato antes de llenarlo, vaciarlo, limpiarlo, o cuando no se encuentre en uso. 5.No llene el hervidor demasiado ya que el agua hervida puede salir disparada. El nivel maximo es el que viene marcado con el indicador de agua. 6.No utilice el electrodomestico ni lo coloque cerca de superficies calientes tales como un quemador de cocina a gas o electrico o dentro de un horno caliente. 7.No permita que el cordon cuelgue del borde de la mesa o del repostero de cocina. No permita que el cordon entre en contacto con superficies calientes. 8.Nunca tire del cordon ya que lo puede danar y a la larga causar una descarga electrica. 9.No utilice un electrodomestico con el cordon o enchufe danados, o despues de que presente algun desperfecto o de que haya sufrido una caida.
