Special Features 136 Setting up the address book Setting up the address book Storing a number for One-touch dialing Press (fax) on the control panel. 1 Press and hold one of the one-touch dial buttons for more than 2 2 seconds. If a number is already stored in the location you chose, the display shows the number to allow you to change it and press OK. Enter the number you want to store using the number keypad and press 3 OK. To insert a pause between numbers, press (Redial/Pause). A symbol “-” appears on the display. To assign a name to the number, enter the name you want. 4 If you do not want to assign a name, skip this step. Press OK when the name appears correctly or without entering a name. 5 To store more numbers, press a one-touch button and repeat steps 2 6 through 5. Press (Stop/Clear) to return to ready mode. 7 Searching Address Book for an entry There are two ways to search for a number in memory. You can either scan from A to Z sequentially, or search by entering the first few letters of the name associated with the number. Select (fax) > (Address Book) > Search&Dial > Speed Dial or 1 Group Dial on the control panel. Select All or ID and press OK. 2 Press the name, number, or the button labeled with the letter you want 3 to search. For example, if you want to find the name “MOBILE,” press “6”, which is labeled with the letters “MNO.” Press (Stop/Clear) to return to ready mode. 4 Printing Address Book You can check your Address Book settings by printing a list. 3. The machine might be out of memory. • For models that provide XPS driver on the software CD: -You can install the XPS printer driver when you insert the software CD into your CD-ROM drive. Advanced Installation > Custom Installation. You can select the XPS printer driver in the Select Software and Utilities to Install window. • For models that provide XPS driver from the Samsung website, > find your product> Support or Downloads. Printing to a file (PRN) You will sometimes need to save the print data as a file. Check the Print to file box in the Print window. 1 Click Print. 2 Type in the destination path and the file name, and then click OK. 3 For example, c:\Temp\file name. If you type in only the file name, the file is automatically saved in My Documents, Documents and Settings, or Users. The saved folder may differ, depending on your operating system or the application you are using.
