SyncThru™ Admin 5 defines the severity level of all the alerts on the list. If you want to change the severity level for the specified alerts, double-click the Custom severity level field of the alert you want to change. The field will become editable. After changing, SyncThru™ Admin 5 will refer to the custom severity level. •Supply level : This is a threshold for consumables-related alerts. When a remaining level reaches the defined supply level, SyncThru™ Admin 5 decides the specified alert happens. There are three types of supply level alerts. If you want to change the supply level of these alerts, double-click the Default supply level field of the alert you want. The field will become editable. Three types of supply level alerts are as follows: -No toner level -Low toner level -Low toner level early warning Alert Notifications Registering Alert Notifications 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Alert Notifications. The Alert notification window appears. Viewing Alert Notifications list •Name : The configured name of the alert notification. •Creation Date : The date and time the alert notification created. •RSS : You can see the RSS information when you click it. You can receive this alert notification via RSS using this information. •Modfiy : You can modify alert notifications if you click this button (See"Alert Notifications" on page 77). Modifying Alert Notifications 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Alert Notifications. The Alert Notification window appears. Un-registering Alert Notification 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Alert Notifications. Alert data gathering SyncThru™ Admin 5 collects alert data via polling, which means that SyncThru™ Admin 5 gathers the data from the devices periodically. SSyncThru™ Admin 5 collects alert data via traps, which means that devices send alert data when they have any alert. SyncThru™ Admin 5 collects via both polling and traps. Firmware Files Viewing firmware files Downloading firmware file 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Firmware Files. A window appears. Uploading firmware file 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Firmware Files. Deleting firmware file(s) 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Firmware Files. Modifying firmware file 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Firmware Files. You can modify Model Name and Comment, which may work as an identifier for the file. Unconfigured Devices Configuring SNMP settings In the Unconfigured Devices panel 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > Device Management > Unconfigured Devices.
