Each time you press the button, the counter "L" will display the number of hours the cycle start has been delayed by in sequence; choose the time you prefer. The delayed start indicator light "H" flashes and when the appliance starts, the counter will begin the countdown to the delayed start. When this time is up, the wash cycle will begin and the counter will now serve to display the amount of time left until the end of the wash cycle. NOTE: • it is best if you keep from modifying anything during countdown; if this is absolutely necessary, then turn the knob to the RESET position: 4 beeps and the 3 dashes appearing indicate that all settings have been cancelled Repeat the operations for "dishwasher delayed start programming" and for "starting and setting the wash cycle" following the instructions in the relative paragraphs. • Should there be a power failure or should the door of the appliance be opened during the countdown, the latter will come to a stop and will re-start either when the power comes back on or when the door is closed. Wash cycle modification buttons Half load selection button on upper or lower rack. This can be selected before setting any wash cycle, yet we remind you that you should halve the amount of detergent recommended for the wash cycle you have selected (see wash cycle table). Press button "I" and you will hear a beep, the indicator "N" appears on the display: you can select which rack to perform the half load on. Each time the button is pressed, you will hear a beep, and symbol appears indicating the wash on the upper rack, whereas symbol indicates the wash on the lower rack. Press the button again and you will hear another beep, thereby resetting the selection and the appliance will consequently wash on both racks. To use the racks correctly, we recommend you read the chapter entitled "Loading the dishes". In order to prevent odors from forming and food from caking onto the dishes, you can run the hold cycle. -Choose the right wash cycle: the choice of cycle depends on the type of dishware, cookware and utensils being washed and how dirty they are. -Use the right amount of detergent: if you use too much detergent, the result will not be cleaner dishes, but, rather, a greater negative impact on the environment. -There is no utility in rinsing dishes, cookware and utensils before placing them in the dishwasher. How to Keep Your Dishwasher in Shape After Every Wash After every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly ajar so that moisture and odors are not trapped inside. Remove the Plug Before cleaning or performing maintenance, always remove the plug from the socket. Do not run risks. No Solvents or Abrasive Cleaning Products To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products. Rather, use only a cloth and warm soapy water. To remove spots or stains from the surface of the interior, use a cloth dampened with water and a little white vinegar, or a cleaning product made specifically for dishwashers. When You Go on Holiday When you go on holiday, it is recommended that you run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty and then remove the plug from the socket, turn off the water supply and leave the door of the appliance slightly ajar. This will help the seals last longer and prevent odors from forming within the appliance. Moving the Appliance If the appliance must be moved, try to keep it in the vertical position.
