Turn the set to find the best position. FM: The headphone cord functions as the FM-antenna. Extend it fully and position the cord. FM-ST: If stereo reception is weak, set the band selector to FM. Reception will now be mono, but the noise distortion suppressed. 5 Adjust the sound with VOLUME and DBB controls. 6 To turn off the radio, set TAPE/RADIO to TAPE. CASSETTE PLAYBACK 1 Set TAPE/RADIO to TAPE. 2 Connect headphones to the p socket. 3 Open the cassette holder and insert a tape with the full reel on your right. 4 Press the cassette door lightly to shut. 5 Set the CrO2/METAL•NORM tape selector to match your inserted tape type: – CrO2/METAL for CHROME (IEC II) or METAL (IEC IV); – NORM for (IEC I) NORMAL type cassettes. 6 To start playback, press 1. 7 Adjust the sound with the VOLUME and DBB controls. 8 To stop playback, press 9 and the set is switched off. 9 To fast wind, press 5, to rewind, press 6. Press 9 to stop winding. – At the end of the tape, the cassette keys are automatically released and the set is switched off. Pour une meilleure reception : AM: utilisez l'antenne integree. Changez la position de l'appareil jusqu'a obtenir la meilleure reception. FM: le fil du casque fait office d'antenne FM. Etirez le fil completement et placez-le de facon a optimiser la reception. FM-ST: si le signal stereo FM est faible, placez le selecteur de bande en position FM. Les programmes seront desormais en son mono, mais les interferences seront supprimees. 5 Reglez le volume a l'aide des commandes VOLUME et DBB. 6 Pour eteindre la radio, placez le selecteur TAPE/RADIO sur TAPE. LECTURE DE CASSETTE 1 Placez le selecteur TAPE/RADIO sur TAPE. 2 Reliez le casque a la prise p . 3 Ouvrez le compartiment a cassette et introduisez la cassette entierement rembobinee vers la droite. 4 Fermez en appuyant doucement sur le compartiment. 5 Placez le selecteur CrO2/METAL•NORM sur la position correspondant au type de cassette utilisee : – CrO2/METAL pour des cassettes de type CHROME (IEC II) ou METAL (IEC IV), ou – NORM pour des cassettes de type NORMAL (IEC I ). 6 Appuyez sur 1.pour demarrer la lecture. 7 Reglez le son a l'aide des commandes VOLUME et DBB. 8 Pour arreter la lecture, appuyez sur 9. L'appareil s'eteint. 9 Pour l'avance rapide, appuyez sur 5,Pour le rembobinage, appuyez sur 6. Appuyez sur 9pour arreter le rembobinage rapide. –En fin de bande, toutes les touches se declenchent automatiquement et l'appareil s'eteint. Para mejorar la recepcion: AM: para la recepcion en AM se utiliza la antena incorporada. Gire el aparato hasta encontrar la mejor posicion.. FM: el cable de los auriculares funciona como antena de FM. Extiendalo totalmente y coloque el cable. FM-ST: Si la senal de FM es debil, ajuste el conmutador de banda a la posicion FM.
