Bulbs over 1000 watts not recommended and are too long to be used in the #8124 24x32” Lightbank. The bulb that comes with your kit is tested and approved for the #8124 Lightbank. If a higher wattage bulb is used it may cause severe damage to the bulb, the internal baffle and the front screen. This type of misuse will void any warranty. Please call CHIMERA® directly at 888-444-1812 if you have any questions on the proper replacement bulbs to use. 8000 1 8005 - 24 x 32 LIGHT KITS Instruction Sheet 8000E and 8005E Kits are 220 v FRONT SCREEN OPTIONS This Lightbank comes equipped with a full diffusion front screen as a standard item. Instructions for use of the front screen are found in the “Lightbank Care and Use Instructions” card that comes with the Lightbank. Half and quarter-grid front screens are also available as options. Half-grid screens give a half stop less diffusion and the quarter-grid screens give one-fourth stop less diffusion than the full screen. Item No. Description Price 4120 Small Full Diffusion Front Screen Included with Kit 4122 Small 1/2 Grid Front Screen - optional $29.00 4124 Small 1/4 Grid Front Screen - optional $29.00 USING THE FABRIC GRID (Item 3520) The Fabric Grid can be used to control light spill and direct it forward onto the subject. With the Fabric Grid in place, the beam angle of the light will be reduced from approximately 100 degrees to approximately 40 degrees. Unfold the Fabric Grid and hold it by the top corners in front of the Lightbank so that the Velcro™ strip around the Grid is facing the rear of the Lightbank. Align the Velcro™ strip on the Grid with the corresponding Velcro™ strip on the Lightbank. Press the two Velcro™ strips together. Attach the bottom edge next in the same manner, and then attach the sides. Repeat on the remaining three sides of the Lightbank.
