Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the ASUS Notebook Local Warranty Extension Package (LWEP). ASUS
provides continuing warranty service during the extended period to let you enjoy your ASUS notebook
with guaranteed ASUS support.
ASUS Local Warranty Extension Service Policy
1.
Only one Warranty Extension Package can be applied for one notebook.
2.
The ASUS Local Warranty Extension Package (LWEP) can only be purchased in the country
where you original y bought your brand-new ASUS notebook from an authorized ASUS dealer or
distributor. User is required to keep the proofs of purchase of Notebook and LWEP for
future service request.
3.
The ASUS Local Warranty Extension Package (LWEP) only applies to ASUS notebook original
hardware, excluding software, battery, any external devices, accessories, and the parts not
instal ed by ASUS.
4.
Your ASUS notebook warranty wil automatical y be extended for another one (1) year from your
ASUS notebook’s original warranty due date.
5.
The service provided in the extended period wil fol ow the local standard and service policy.
Contact the local ASUS service center or refer to the warranty card for details.
6.
The service provided in the extended period does not include global support.
Limitations
The extended warranty only covers failures or malfunctions that occur during the warranty period and
under normal use conditions, as wel as any material or workmanship defects. The warranty will not
apply if:
1.
The product has been tampered, repaired or modified by non-authorized personnel.
2.
The serial number on the notebook, components or accessories has been altered, canceled, or
removed.
3.
The warranty seals have been broken, blurred or altered.
4.
There is damage caused by an external electrical fault, any accident, natural disaster, intentional
or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect or improper maintenance, or use under abnormal
conditions.
5.
There is damage caused by improper instal ation or improper connection to a peripheral device
such as a printer, external optical drive, and other such devices.
6.
There is damage from use outside the operation or storage parameters or environment detailed
in your ASUS Notebook’s User Manual.
7.
There is damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold by ASUS.
8.
There is damage or loss of any program, data or removable storage media, or if there is cost
involved in recovering any program or data.
