The default setting is 0. You may challenge someone else with the same configuration that you played by pressing “«“. This selection starts a new game with the previous configuration. 1. Press -> or L to increase the LEVEL. Press or J to decrease the LEVEL. Press H during play to increase the level (you can not decrease the level during play). 2. When the LEVEL is set, press SPACE BAR or RETURN. 3. Press —> or L to increase the HEIGHT. Press or J to decrease the HEIGHT. 4. Press SPACE BAR or RETURN to start the game. 260 Playing Tetris 1. Press or L to move the piece to the right. Press j, or K to rotate the piece. Press SPACE BAR to drop the piece when it is aligned. NOTE: The faster a piece falls, the more points are scored when the line is deleted. 2. Press S to turn the sound off/on. 3. Press N to show the next piece that is going to fall into the pit. 4. When the game is over, the following message is displayed: Do you want to play again? “Press RETURN (yes) CANCEL (no).” 5. Press RETURN to reset and play again, or CANCEL to return to the MAIN MENU. NOTE: The difficulty of the game will change as lines are deleted. After 11 lines, the LEVEL will change from 1 to 2, and after 22 lines, from 2 to 3. The score of the current game. The number of deleted lines. The current difficulty level while playing. The shape of the next piece is displayed (can be turned off by pressing N).
