It is constructed of the finest select mahogany chosen specifically for tonal qualities as well as for aesthetic and weight characteristics. Neck The select hard-rock maple neck is crafted to provide unmatched rigidity and freedom from warpage. An adjustable steel torsion rod is also provided for additional reinforcement. This torsion rod features an easy access, recessed torsion rod adjustment wheel for convenience and ease of adjustment. (See Adjustment-Torsion Rod, for adjustment instructions.) Pickups The vintage soapbar style pickups feature alnico magnets and reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum-canceling operalion with both combined. The pickups are frequency tuned for maximum tonal response, as well as being fully wax-dipped for resistance to microphonic feedback. (See A dj us tmen ts-Pickups.) Controls Pickup Selector Switch This three-position switch allows selection of either pickup or a combination of both. The pickups are reverse wound/reverse polarity to provide hum-canceling operation with both pickups combined. The selection possibilities are as follows: Up = Neck pickup Center = Both pickups (hum-canceling) Down = Bridge pickup Out p.ui_Ja c_k The output jack accepts standard guitar/instrument cables.
