Fixed brush H/H1/H2 Gun with safety catch/hose assembly I. Power supply cord with GFCI J. Detergent applicator K. Nozzle cleaning tool L. On/off switch M/M1/M2 Garden hose Quick Connect N. Top handle SET-UP / ADJUSTMENT Figure 1 - Attach wheels (E) by firmly pressing onto the pressure washer until they snap into place. Figure 2 - Snap the top handle (N) into place as shown. Figure 3 - Insert the fan wand (D) into the gun wand (H) by pushing and rotating until the two parts are locked as shown in Figure 3. Figure 4 - Connect the high pressure hose (H1) to the water (OUTLET) (A) on the cleaner by first inserting the brass end of the hose into the threaded brass outlet, then snugly threading on the coupling. Figure 5 / 5A - Separate the two portions of the Quick Connect adapter (M) as shown in Figure 5 and connect the threaded end of the larger half (M2) to your garden hose as shown in Fig. 5A. The intake water temperature must NOT exceed 50°C (122°F). The water supply pressure must NOT exceed 10 bar (145psi). CAUTION: The pressure washer must only be used with clean water; use of unfiltered water or corrosive chemicals will damage the pressure washer. Figure 7 - With the adapter (M2) attached to your water hose, pull back on the top section and push onto the water inlet (B) of the pressure washer then release. Figure 8 - Connect garden hose to the cold water source and turn water on full. 6 7 ((CLICK.)) 8 OPERATION NOTE: Before cleaning any surface, an inconspicuous area should be cleaned to test spray pattern and distance for maximum cleaning results. If painted surfaces are peeling or chipping, use extreme caution as pressure washer may remove the loose paint from the surface. The PW1500 Pressure Washer is equipped with automatic delivery flow cutoff: When the trigger is released, the dynamic pressure automatically cuts out the motor. When the trigger is pressed the pressure drop automatically starts the motor and the pressure is restored with a very slight delay. Figure 9 - Plug the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) (I) into a working grounded outlet. TEST BEFORE EACH USE. The indicator at the top of the GFCI should turn red when product is ready to use. Press the “TEST” button (bottom). The red indicator should disappear. Press “RESET” button for use. Do not use if the above test fails. Figure 10 - Release the safety catch shown in Figure 10, then press the trigger for a few seconds to allow air to escape and to discharge residual pressure in the hoses. 9 10 5A Garden hose 598121-00 Pressure Wash Revised 11/24/03 2:00 PM Page 5 6 Figure 11 - Turn on the pressure washer by depressing the top half of the switch (L) marked “I”. The unit will run for a few seconds as it builds up pressure, then will shut off. It will run on demand as the gun trigger is depressed. Turn off the pressure washer by depressing the lower half of the switch marked “0”. YOUR PRESSURE WASHER IS NOW READY TO USE - PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING FOR DETAILS ON ACCESSORIES APPLICATION. ACCESSORIES CAUTION: Before changing accessories, turn unit off, pull trigger to release pressure, and activate safety catch. • ADJUSTABLE FAN WAND 1.) Insert the fan wand (D) into the gun wand (H) by pushing and rotating until the two parts are locked as shown in Figure A. 2.) To obtain maximum pressure, rotate the fan wand nozzle in a clockwise direction as shown in FIgure B. This narrow stream results in deeper cleaning in a concentrated area. For a wider fan pattern rotate the fan wand nozzle in the counterclockwise direction. The wider fan pattern reduces the risk of surface 11 A damage and allows for cleaning large surface areas quickly. 3.) To remove, press fan wand into gun wand and twist as shown in Figure C. • TURBO NOZZLE 1.) Insert the turbo nozzle wand (C) into the gun wand (H) by pushing and rotating until the two parts are locked as shown in Figure D. 2.) There is no adjustment required with the turbo nozzle. 3.) To remove, press nozzle wand into gun wand and twist as shown in Figure E. • DETERGENT APPLICATOR Follow manufacturer’s label directions for mixing correct concentrations of soap and detergents. To use the applicator: 1.) Unscrew top of detergent applicator B C D E 598121-00 Pressure Wash Revised 11/24/03 2:00 PM Page 6 598121-00 Press...
