Write the product’s serial number in the back of the manual near the assembly diagram, or write month and year of purchase if product has no number. Keep this manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference. Important Safeguards READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Read all instructions. Close supervision is necessary when this product is near children. Do not let children play in or around this product unsupervised. Extreme caution must be used when moving this product. For safety, collapse the Umbrella before moving. Do not use this product for other than intended use. Maintain labels and nameplates on this product. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. Keep bystanders and children at a distance when operating this Umbrella. CAUTION: Do not immerse in water. Do not set up this product if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not attempt to use this product. Use eye protection when assembling this product. Wear ANSI approved safety impact eye goggles. The ANSI approved safety impact goggles are available from Harbor Freight Tools. Do not attempt to assemble or use this product in moderate or heavy wind conditions. Doing so may cause personal injury and/or damage to the umbrella and personal property. Check for damaged parts. Before using this product, carefully check that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Service and maintenance should be performed by a qualified technician. LED lights are designed to last for a very long time. They should not need to be replaced. Use the right product for the right job. There are certain applications for which this product was designed. Use this product ONLY with a heavy duty stand (not included), weighing at least 18 Lbs., and capable of firmly securing this Umbrella. Do not use this product in a way for which it is not intended. The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. Save these Instructions. UNPACKING When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. Assembly Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram at the end of this manual. Operation Note: This Umbrella is intended for use only with a heavy duty umbrella stand which is not provided with this product. Order the Umbrela Stand fromm Harbor Freight Tools. Ask for SKU # 94041, Granite Stand. Before setting up and using, make sure the Umbrella Light Switch (4) is turned off. (See Figure 3, page 5. Place the umbrella stand (not included) on a flat, smooth surface. Choose a sunny location, allowing enough space for the height and the diameter of the Umbrella. The Solar Panel (5) at the top of the Umbrella (1) needs to be in a sunny location in order to charge. Allow at least 8 hours of sunlight for charging before first use....
