Press OPERATION button 2. Press AUTO-PROGRAM button ■If you do not select the pre-programmed massage, you can manually select various types of massage, from slow tapping to vibration, with the speed control -The unit simulates the 5 key massage techniques illustrated below Gradually increasing in intensity * Tapping alternately with both hands open Interval % v t Tapping with both hands clenched together Tapping together with both hands open Five massage techniques v * * Vibrating with one hand in a fist Tapping with one hand in a fist [Manual Massage] 1. Make sure the switch is in the OFF position and the main body is secured before plugging into the power source. 2. Use the VIBRATING function first to massage all over the soles of the feet (approx 1 minute). 3. Use the TAPPING function to concentrate the massage in the arches of the feet (approx 1 minute). 4. Use the VIBRATING function as the final massage, centering on the areas which are stiff or tense (approx 1 minute). 5. Turn switch OFF and unplug unit. [Note] • To prevent excessive massaging, there is a built-in timer which after 15 minutes of operation will automatically stop the motion of tapping area. (Soles of Feet) Place the massager securely on the floor with the control panel toward you, sit in a chair, and place your feet on top of the massager Start by massaging allover the soles of the feet 2. (Calf) Place the massager on a bed or sofa, or other flat surface and lie down with ydur calves on the massager 3. (Waist) Place the massager on a soia or chair with the control panel down, facing the buttons toward you Sit down with your lower back against the massager Massage Effects on the Soles of Feet There are two major types of massagers, those designed to relax the nerves, and those designed to relax the muscles A typical massager, designed for nerves, will rub lightly and is generally equipped with a rolling mechanism Massaging to stimulate muscles and improve circulation requires a more aggressive design using tapping and vibration MassagB Illustration EHhcI Dn body Tapping Stimulates muscles and promotes circulalmn □! blood and lymph fluida Vibrating Stimulates the nerves In relai muscles 5 Cautions - To avoid possible injury: ■ Do not use for those who are pregnant or menstruating or persons with an illness ■ Do not use for any afflicted area ol your body ■ Do not use on or near children • Do not use for massaging the head, abdomen, elbows or Knees • If you feel any discomfort during use, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician • Do not allow children to play on or around the massager • After use, turn the power button to off • Massaging should be limited to no more than 15 minutes Do not massage any one point for longer than 5 minutes Excessibe massage can overstimulate the muscles and nerves and result in an adverse effect • To lessen the stimulation of the massager for those for whom the effect is too strong, place towels over the tapping areas ■ Turn off the massager if you become sleepy during use ■ Avoid using sharp or pointed objects an the massagsr ■ Be careful not to drop lit cigarettes, ashes or matches on the mas...
